Holiday Claims

Update: April 19th, 2011

Our business is related to risky activity and at first sight going on holiday may not be the first thing that comes to mind. How can sipping a rum and coke on the beach with your wife on a beach in Spain be dangerous? Of course that, in itself, is not dangerous but there are risks involved. Not all those risks relate to personal injury but relate to contractual commitments.  You see the brochures offer a stress free fortnight of unwinding and relaxation then that’s what you pay for and for those who for the other 50 weeks are in a highly stressed job such as surgeon, air traffic controller or whatever, it’s what they need. If the two weeks turns into a 2 week fiasco of incompetence and disappointment then we believe strongly that they should make a claim for compensation.

There is of course an element of personal risk involved, for example, in being in an unfamiliar culture with different driving habits and driving on the wrong side of the road. May be we forget that we are not quite as young as we used to be and over extend ourselves. We certainly take more risks, but why not, you‘re on holiday. Any way the bottom line is that you may end up in hospital. If you were sensible you would have taken out an insurance policy and you can claim for expenses. Also if you have any sense you will contact our Holiday claims section.

For help in Criminal injury compensation or car accident claims we operate on a No win no fee basis. And so does the No win no fee solicitor who will work on your case.  The bottom line is that insurance companies do a great job in removing the financial implications of risk, but by the very nature of the insurance industry you would be well advised to get professional help.
